Although samurai are best known for their swordsmanship, it wasn’t their only and the best war skill. There was also additional original way of the warrior which was called Kyūjutsu ("art of archery"). It was the traditional Japanese martial art of wielding a bow (yumi) as practiced by the samurai class of feudal Japan. Thus we can say that swordsmanship wasn’t only war skill for samurai.
